|Address:||206 East High Street|
|Architectural Style:||Queen Anne|
The house was most likely built by Anton Schiappacasse, confectioner and Italian immigrant who likely used the building as a rental property. The house was built on the site of a car barn used by Mount Vernon's street railway. The Anton Schiappacasse House compliments the nearby Queen Anne structure at 204 East High Street. It features a beveled glass transom and sidelights, and a bay window protrudes from the east and west sides. The front porch features a pediment that is supported by wooden Doric columns. The side porch is similar to the porch on the front of the building.
