|Address:||700 North Gay Street|
|Architectural Style:||Gothic Revival|
|Year Built:||c. 1850s|
This small house stands out not only because of its corner lot, white picket fence, and vibrant color, but because its Gothic Revival architecture is unique within this section of the North Main - North Gay Streets Historic District. The main entrance faces East Curtis Street, with a steeply pitched central gable intersecting the larger side gables. On either side of all the windows are hinges that once held functional shutters. The Victorian-style porches with spindle balustrades were added sometime in the early-20th century.
